It’s Not Me, It’s My Basement is a short role-playing horror game that takes about half an hour to an hour to complete. The game takes place in a small village town called Blackwood and  follows a certain non-binary child, named Embry Oliver, who was left alone at home. Embry has to take care of a creepy monster residing in their basement after it eats their parents. Because of the responsibility of keeping the monster in check, Embry rarely goes outside – resulting in the townspeople getting overly concerned for the child. As time passes by, a travelling healer by the name of Dr. D Light shows up to take it upon himself to help the child and deal with the monster in the basement. The game features only one ending,
